Lake Rules & Regulations

TO RENEWING BOATERS: New boat stickers will not be issued this year. Your current boat sticker is still valid. If your sticker is damaged or cannot be easily read, please contact me for a new one.

TO NEW BOATERS: You will be contacted with information on how to obtain your key and boat sticker. You must sign a Waiver before these items will be issued to you.

ALL BOATS MUST DISPLAY VALID STICKERS. Any boat not displaying a valid sticker may be removed by GPBLCC.

When Using Our Facility Please:

  • Do not chain your boat to the fence
  • Be sure your boat is clear of the ramp. Any boat blocking the ramp will be moved.
  • Lock the gate when out on the lake, and when leaving the facility.
  • Place trash in the cans provided for your use.
  • E-mail me with any questions, concerns, or suggestions.

Boating Policies:

  1. Adult MEMBERS may purchase a boat key when their membership application is sent in for an additional fee stated on the application.
  2. Keys must not be used during regular pool hours.
  3. The gate to the boat ramp area must be locked when entering and leaving.
  4. Any child that wants to fish before or after hours must be at least 18 years of age unless accompanied by an adult. Children under 18 may not use the key to go fishing or boating by themselves.
  5. Fishermen over the age of 14 are required by State Law to have a valid fishing license.
  6. Boats must register with the Lake and Dam Chairperson and must display the permit sticker.
  7. You must be a member in order to use a boat. Misuse of a key can and will result in the loss of your membership.

In the event of an accident:

  1. Call the Manager or Assistant Manager Immediately.
  2. Contact parents or guardians.
  3. Secure names and addresses of witnesses.
  4. Complete accident report immediately.
  5. Parent or guardian will send form to insurance company and follow-up themselves.
