
2023 Season Information
For the 2023 season, we will be switching over to MemberSplash for member registration as well as daily check-in. Moving to this system will allow better communication and easier season-to-season registration.
Those who were members in 2022 will receive an email detailing how to sign into their accounts and register for 2023.
New members will need to register once it becomes available.
Membership Registration

When completing registration, all members must reside at the billing address on file. Only members who permanently reside at that address are eligible for membership.

Anyone who falsely registers members who do not reside at the registered address will be subject to board review and potentially have their memberships revoked.

Memberships are always processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. The board reserves the right to limit memberships at any time.

All memberships need to be paid in full at the time of registration.

New members to GPBLCC are required to pay a $125 initiation fee. This fee only applies to new members their first year.

The primary member of the membership must be 18 years of age or older.

A senior membership will be offered when the member is 62 as of May 1 of the current year

Any child under the age of 4 as of May 1 is free

IN CONSIDERATION of being permitted to participate in any way in the Greenwood Park Bells Lake Community Club activities (“Activity”) I, for myself for personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin:_______________________
ACKNOWLEDGE, agree, and represent that I understand the nature of such activities and that I am qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate in such Activity. I further agree and warrant that if at any time, I believe conditions to be unsafe, I will immediately discontinue further participation in the Activity. FULLY UNDERSTAND THAT: (a) Greenwood Park Bells Lake Community Club ACTIVITIES INVOLVE RISKS AND DANGERS OF SERIOUS BODILY INJURY, INCLUDING PERMANENT DISABILITY, PARALYSIS, AND DEATH (“RISKS”); (b) these Risks and dangers may be caused by my own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of others participating in the Activity, the condition in which the Activity takes place, or THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE (“RELEASES”) NAMED BELOW; (c) there may be OTHER RISK AND SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC LOSSES either not known to me or not readily foreseeable at this time; and I FULLY ACCEPT AND ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS AND ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSSES, COSTS, AND DAMAGES I incur as a result of my participation or that of the minor in the Activity. HEREBY RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Greenwood Park Bells Lake Community Club, their respective administrators, directors, agents, officers, members, volunteers, and employees, other participants, any sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owner and lessors of premises on which the Activity takes place, (each considered one of the (“RELEASEES”) herein) FROM ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, DEMANDS, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES ON MY ACCOUNT CAUSED OR ALLEGED TO BE CAUSED IN WHOLE OR IN PART BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING NEGLIGENT RESCUE OPERATIONS AND I FURTHER AGREE that if despite this RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNIFY, SAVE, AND HOLD HARMLESS EACH OF THE RELEASEES, from any litigation expenses, attorney fees, loss, liability, or cost which may incur as the result of such claim.
I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND IT’S TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT AND HAVE SIGNED IT FREELY AND WITHOUT INDUCEMENT OR ASSURANCE OF ANY NATURE AND INTEND IT TO BE COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW AND AGREE THAT IF ANY PORTION OF THIS AGREEMENT IS HELD TO BE INVALID THE BALANCE, NOT WITHSTANDING, SHALL CONTINUE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT.
AND I, THE MINORS PARENT AND/OR LEGAL GUARDIAN, UNDERSTAND THE NATURE OF GREENWOOD PARK BELLS LAKE COMMUNITY CLUB ACTIVITIES AND THE MINORS EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES AND BELIEVE THE MINOR TO BE QUALIFIED, IN GOOD HEALTH, AND IN PROPER PHYSICAL CONDITION TO PARTICIPATE IN SUCH ACTIVITY. I HERBY RELEASE, DISCHARGE, COVENANT NOT TO SUE, AND AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS EACH OF THE RELEASEES FROM ALL LIABILITY CLAIMS, DEMANDS, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES ON THE MINORS ACCOUNT CAUSED OR ALLEGED TO BE CAUSED IN WHOLE OR IN PART BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE “RELEASEES” OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING NEGLIGENT RESCUE OPERATION AND FURTHER AGREE THAT IF, DESPITE THIS RELEASE, I, THE MINOR, OR ANYONE ON THE MINORS BEHALF MAKES A CLAIM AGAINST ANY OF THE RELEASEES NAMED ABOVE, I WILL INDEMNIFY, SAVE, AND HOLD HARMLESS EACH OF THE RELEASEES FROM ANY LITIGATION EXPENSES, ATTORNEY FEES, LIABILITY, DAMAGE, OR COST ANY MAY INCUR AS THE RESULT OF ANY SUCH CLAIM.
I also understand that GREENWOOD PARK BELLS LAKE COMMUNITY CLUB does enforce a cancellation policy. Memberships are refundable less a $50 processing fee for memberships canceled before opening day. Memberships are nonrefundable after Memorial Day.
The following Rules and Regulations have been established by the Greenwood Park Bells Lake Community Club’s Board of Directors for the safeguarding of its members, their guests, and for the protection of their property. Since each member has a vested interest in the safe and healthful operations of the Club’s facilities, it is essential that these Rules and Regulations be observed.
- The pool may be closed at specific times because of special activities. Advanced notice of these activities will be posted by the front office window.
- No Pets of any kind will be allowed on the grounds.
- Bicycle riders shall walk their bikes through the entrance and to the parking stalls.
- Should there be more bikes than available stalls, they should be parked upright and adjacent to the stalls. Bicycles thrown on the ground and parked out of the prescribed area will not be tolerated.
- NO GLASS articles of ANY KIND are allowed on Club grounds. The Management reserves the right to inspect coolers, bags or any containers to enforce this.
- There shall be NO LOITERING, CONGREGATING, OR VISITING near the entrance or in the gatekeeper’s or manager’s office.
- Children with SWIMMIES MUST STAY in the SHALLOW END of the pool and the lake and MUST BE ACCOMPANIED by an ADULT, who is completely IN the water…AT ALL TIMES with the child.
- Open bottom floats are permitted in the lake, NOT in the pool. This includes inner-tubes and noodles.
- When not in a boat fishing is permitted from the fishing dock all the way to the Dam. Boating and fishing from a boat is not permitted in or near the roped off swimming area.
- GASOLINE ENGINES in any form are PROHIBITED. They may not even be attached to a boat.
- No loitering, congregating or visiting with the life guards or socializing with the life guards while on duty. Interfering with the life guards in the execution of their assigned duties is strictly prohibited.
- The BABY POOL is limited to children five years of age and under who are being monitored by a person at least 15 years of age or older.
- Babies in diapers are NOT PERMITTED in either the main pool, OR the baby pool, or lake. Babies must wear swim diapers to enter the baby pool.
- No alcohol will be consumed on the apron of the baby pool.
- Only ONE PERSON at a time is allowed on the diving board. All dives must be executed in forward motion, (no back flips) Swimmers completing their dive must exit the pool via the pool ladders on either side of the diving area.
- AT NO TIME WILL CHILDREN BE ALLOWED TO JUMP OFF THE DIVING BOARD TO A WAITING PARENT.
- Swimmers must wear regular bathing suits. No cutoff shorts etc. may be worn in the pool. Any other bathing attire must be approved by the manager. This is by order of the Board of Health.
- Profanity or Fighting will NOT BE TOLERATED, ANYTIME or ANYWHERE.
- Pursuant to the State Board of Health…SHOWERS ARE REQUIRED before entering the pool. This especially applies to those who have been swimming in the lake or playing Volleyball.
- Use of the lake and main pool is STRICTLY PROHIBITED when there is NO LIFEGUARD PRESENT.
- NO CHILDREN under the age of 18 years of age are permitted IN THE POOL OR ON THE APRON during ADULT SWIMS.
- NO MEMBERS OR GUESTS with skin rashes, abrasions, sores or infections of the skin or respiratory tract will be allowed in the pool. If in doubt, please see the Club Manager.
- SMOKING IS PROHIBITED except in the designated smoking areas.
- Anyone renting a boat on our lake MUST WEAR A LIFE JACKET. Those who own a boat and have lawful permission to be on our lake MUST HAVE THEIR LIFE JACKET FOR EVERYONE IN THE BOAT.
- Members 12 years of age and older may take out a Kayak or paddle board, after they have successfully completed the test with the lifeguard. Which will be given at the bottom of every hour.
- Violations of posted rules is reason to eject or otherwise restrict a person or group from using the facilities for a period of time specified by the Club Manager. The Board of Directors may also REVOKE OR OTHERWISE DENY MEMBERSHIP to those who do not conform to the Rules and Regulations.
- Any person suspected of being under the influence or in possession of an illegal substance will be asked to leave the club immediately by the manager and their membership will be subject to revocation.
- Playing catch in the pool will be allowed at the discretion of the lifeguard staff, and only with soft water – absorbent balls. Playing catch on the pool apron is prohibited.
- No beverages of any kind will not be permitted in the pool or anywhere within two feet of the pool edge.
- The Pool Manager has FULL AUTHORITY granted by the Board of Directors for the interpretation and enforcement of all Rules and Regulations of the Club.
- Life Guards have COMPLETE AUTHORITY to enforce all Rules and Regulations of the Club.
- During SWIM TEAM PRACTICE and at SWIM LESSONS, ALL PERSONS ARE LIMITED TO THE IMMEDIATE POOL DECK AREA. Members (especially children) are not to wander the Club Grounds or play in any area other than the immediate pool apron areas. This especially applies to the Lake Area. This is the responsibility of the Swim Team Coach or Swim Team Chair.
- NO running, sliding, wrestling, smoking, dunking, spitting, pushing, and horseplay of any kind on the pool deck.
The following policies have been established by the Greenwood Park Bells Lake Community Club Board of Directors for the Safe Operation of the Club’s activities and the fair/ efficient conduct of Club Business. These policies may be added to, deleted or modified by a majority vote of the Board of Directors.
- In case of an emergency (weather or natural causes), the pool will be closed by the Manager until conditions warrant its reopening. The manager reserves the right to make decisions in the interest of the member’s safety.
- All members must scan key tags upon entering and exiting the club.
- Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult (18 or older), who will be responsible for his or her wellbeing.
- The Club has no facility for the checking of valuables. Please do not bring them, as the Club will not be responsible for any articles lost or stolen.
- Domestic help, babysitters or nursemaids acting in that capacity will be permitted to accompany member children as a guest and pay a guest fee of $10.00.
- All Guests must be signed in and ACCOMPANIED by a member in good standing. Member children may bring an adult guest who will be responsible for that child’s care and behavior.
- Senior Citizens (age 62 +) are permitted into the Club as Guests of a member for a charge of $5.00 both weekdays and weekends.
- All children 12 years of age and under must take a swim test before going beyond the roped off area of the pool or being eligible. Swim bands must be worn at all times past 3.5 ft or 1st section. The swim test consists of swimming 25 meters from shallow to deep end without stopping or touching the bottom or sides of pool. Then immediately tread water for 2 minutes. Can only take the test once per day. Swim tests will only be given at the top of the hour. Children 6 and over who pass the swim test are eligible to go on the Wibit.
- If a member has a problem with the operation of the Club, that member should first bring it to the attention of the Manager.
- If warranted, the Manager will then bring it to the attention of the Board of Directors. If the problem is with the Manager, the member has the right to bring the problem directly to the Board.
- Anyone wishing to run classes and/or programs at the Club, must first obtain written permission from the Board of Directors. The program will be run under the Board’s guidelines.
- No one under the age of 18 may join the Club without an legal guardian or parent joining as well.
- Boat rentals will be limited to persons at least 12 years of age.
- Guest fees are reduced to $5.00 per person for those entering the Club after 6:00 PM including weekends.
- No one is permitted to park in the manager spot which is the spot by the double gate.
